Personal Life

I come from a close-knit family that includes my younger brother and older sister. I have lived in Lincoln, Nebraska my entire life, mainly in the south part of the city. Growing up, I attended a small school, starting at Trinity Lutheran Elementary and finishing my primary education at Lincoln Lutheran, which was located just across the street. During my childhood, I loved spending time outdoors and playing with my neighbors, which helped me develop strong friendships that have lasted to this day. As I got older, I continued to enjoy spending time with friends and creating lasting memories. Some of my fondest memories are from the fun “trouble” I would get into with my friends during high school. Overall, my personal life has been shaped by my family, my upbringing in Lincoln, and the strong relationships I’ve formed throughout my life.

Outside of work and spending time with family and friends, I keep busy with my two dogs. They are a big part of my life and bring me a lot of joy. Whether we’re going on walks around the neighborhood or playing fetch at the park, they always keep me on my toes. Being a dog owner has also taught me about responsibility and the importance of creating a routine, which has helped me in other aspects of my life as well.

Hobbies and Fun

One of my favorite things to do for fun is to golf. I started golfing back when I was a freshman in high school and have been ever since. I usually play all the Lincoln city courses, but I have gotten to play at some other nice courses around the country too. In 2022 I went on a vacation to South Carolina and got to golf at some pretty neat courses there including one with holes that were modeled from famous courses around the world.

I also love spending my free time doing DIY projects and tinkering with things. Whether it’s building something from scratch or fixing something that’s broken, I find great satisfaction in using my hands to create and solve problems. I enjoy the process of figuring out how things work and finding creative solutions to challenges that arise along the way. For me, doing DIY projects is not just a hobby, but also a way to continually learn and improve my skills. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of completing a project and seeing the tangible results of my hard work.
